The screw-plug is installed in the implant during the first stage of implantation. It protects the inner surface of the implant completely. The stub is then removed before installation of the abutment.

The screw-plug is used in a two-step prosthetics procedure, since the implant must be securely closed before the flap is sutured. The screw-plug is installed during the first surgical stage and removed before the installation of the abutment.

 The screw-plug is installed for the period of the osseointegration implant and protects the constructions from the harmful effects of the environment. The screw-plug is made of high quality titanium and passes through strictly defined stages of production, purification, and control.
